The winners!

It seemed as though the rain would never end.  New Orleans experienced flooding all over the city, including at the tournament.  The rain did not land on The Jesters’ parade, as we were victorious at the Isidore Newman Tournament.  The team won the Sweepstakes Team Champion Award, named in honor of former Isidore Newman School and current Glenbrook-North HS coach Greg Malis.  Congratulations, and job well done!  Special congratulations to these students for advancing to out-rounds:

In Lincoln-Douglas Debate, both Stephanie Styles and Zak Fields advanced to Quarter-finals

Zak Fields took fourth-place Speaker, while Stephanie Styles took third-place speaker

Michael Barlow and Holden Choi were named Champions in Policy Debate

Tyler Olson took fourth-place Speaker in Public Forum

Tyler Olson and Ben Powers were named Champions in Public Forum
