Last night we welcomed new parents to the team and answered many questions. The new Jesters are meeting with the coaches and event captains this week to get acquainted with the different events. Grady Quest for the Dream!

Our Grady tournament is just around the corner and planning is underway!   Put it on your calendar for January 11 & 12th! Parents, please volunteer to help!   We need every family. This past weekend our Jesters competed near our nation’s capital at the George Mason Speech and Debate Tournament in Fairfax, VA.   We should be very proud of them as we had several competitors who placed very well at what is the largest national HS debate tournament! National Forensic League?!

You may not be familiar with the national honor organization that our children are competing within, by participating in Grady HS’s Speech and Debate program.    I know, I certainly wasn’t before my son joined the team. My word association for “forensic” took me to a crime scene show, that will remain unnamed; and definitely did not include thousands of young people competing in an intellectual pursuit on Saturdays and Sundays [&hellip
