Each month or two the Public Forum and Lincoln-Douglas teams are given new topics to research, build cases around, and then debate. The Lincoln Douglas debates are 1v1, so they have two months to work a single topic. The Public Forum teams receive a new topic each month, assuming there are two teammates, so they should be able to knock it out quicker! Â
And Policy debate works on the same topic for an entire school year! (Can you say, intense?!)
Click on the NFL logo to the right to visit the “Current Topics” page of their site. It links resources and releases the topics each month. I’ll post them here as well.
Be a guest speaker!!
If you happen to see a topic that speaks to your area of expertise, or someone you know’s, please email Mario. He’s always looking for guest speakers to come in and give our Jesters an education!
